The India Distributed Renewable Energy Summit (IDRES) 2026 is India’s flagship platform advancing the next phase of decentralized renewable energy (DRE). Building on the legacy of the India Energy Access Summit (2015–2020), IDRES reflects the evolving priorities of India’s clean energy journey- from expanding access to enabling reliable, productive, affordable, and inclusive energy solutions.
 

As India moves beyond near-universal electrification and accelerates its climate commitments, IDRES 2026 positions DRE as a critical driver of the clean energy transition, sustainable livelihoods, rural industrialisation, and climate resilience. The Summit will convene policymakers, industry leaders, practitioners, financiers, and civil society to shape pathways for scaling distributed energy solutions across sectors.
