Tantra Festival India 2019

Tantra Festival India 2019

This is our 7th year in the birthplace of Tantra, and we are looking forward to really celebrating this with style by integrating the themes from all the previous years in one big explosion! From Charkas, to the Elements, to the Senses, to the Enlightened Masters – all will be present. We have a full line up of international facilitators to lead you in tantra workshops that will create a guided experience deeper into Tantra. We aim to provide a really held space that allows for vulnerability and authentic transformation as well as a lot of fun and pleasure! Supporting all this will be afternoon Biodanza classes which help bring us together as well as tantra tools – specially designed workshops covering some of the most fundamental and important aspects of tantra to help you get the most out of the festival. For male Indian nationals booking on as singles you must go through an interview process with the centre before purchasing a ticket – you may be required to attend a course before the festival to prepare for the festival. Indian couples can book directly onto the festival however. OTHER ATTRACTIONS A host of international musicians will be providing transformation to the space in Living Tantra, while White Robe meditations, Rituals and Evening Performances and Dance Parties with selected DJs and a Talent Show fill our Evening Entertainment. Other attractions will include daily Osho Active Meditations, The Love lounge, Family Sharing groups & Carnival plus 3 acres of beautiful village grounds. There is also a team of healers offering sessions in Breathwork, Theta Healing, Tantra Massage, Tibetian Pulsing and more. You will be supported and catered for in your growth regardless whether you are arriving as couple wanting to deepen your connection or single and wishing to interact more with other participants. Self regulation and feedback are very much encouraged. What’s more we are really excited to announce Living Tantra a now 2 day experiment in Tantric Community and co-creation, starting with the Cacao Ceremony and finishing with a Sannyas Celebration! Here’s a look at some of the key offerings: Tantra Workshops During this festival, there will be 4 tantra workshops per day with different levels of intimacy and depth to them. One large workshop facilitated by a male and female teacher and a smaller one held by one main teacher. You will be supported and catered for in your growth regardless of whether you are arriving at a couple wanting to deepen your connection or single and wishing to interact more with other participants. Self-regulation and feedback are very much encouraged. Very often the word “tantra” conjures up a range of ideas and myths that can make one a little nervous (or even put one off entirely) until you actually try it. Key Points We’ve put together a little guide to help create more understanding and ease. Our teachers are very experienced and you can rest assured that you will be held in a safe space where your personal boundaries are respected, thus allowing you to experiment and stretch yourself knowing that you are in good hands. What exactly is Tantra? Tantra is a path for people wanting to know themselves, deepen awareness within themselves and celebrate all aspects of life. The word has been used to describe a wide range of practices and traditions from the Kashmir Shaivism and Buddhist Vajrayana to more new age practices that include psychotherapeutic approaches and bioenergetics. It has been translated variously as “the weave”, “method” or “technique”. The essence of the path is that it is not so concerned with philosophies about life as the direct experience of it, itself. It gives us methods to directly experience ourselves and actualize our potential. It is not so much a believer’s world but one of alchemy and a knowing that comes from living. Polarity is a good thing The interplay between the masculine and feminine is actually a good thing and gives the passion to life. By skilfully playing out these poles we can energize our practice with enough juice to transcend duality (our own limited point of view). If the polarity is neutralized then its like living with a dead battery. The relevance of this is due to many spiritual systems which have actually encouraged us to dampen down our natural polarity, instincts and desires in order to find peace. It is very peaceful being a corpse! These polarities are sometimes represented by Deity’s such as and Shiva and the Shakti and on a grand scale represent consciousness and its meeting with the manifest world. Tantra is inclusive It uses all at it’s disposal in order for us to deepen into our nature. The key word is acceptance – in accepting yourself, your desires and your quirks there is an opportunity to deepen. Unlike other systems which attempt to shape you through control and effort, Tantra allows you to indulge your desires but with awareness so they deepen beyond surface wants and needs towards the ultimate desire for love and awareness. So there is no effort involved? Not necessarily, some of the techniques can be quite physical, or involve facing fears and becoming more present. It’s not always easy, but they all point toward you as your natural self, there is a stripping away of false shells of being we have surrounded ourselves with rather than needing to add something to become “enlightened”. Sometimes this can leave us a little shaky because we are accustomed to the comfort of our beliefs, ultimately it leads to a deeply satisfying state which is more rested in our true nature. Its all about sex isn’t it? Because of the social repression of sex in most culture, the popular view of tantra is it all about sex e.g “I heard sting did it, and it lasted 8 hours…”. The act of lovemaking in all its facets (quiet breathing and passionate ravishing of the other) is included in tantra but it is certainly not limited to that. In the classic text the Vigyan Bhairav Tantra there are 112 methods for awakening, and only 6 of these are directly related to the sexual act. However, life is deeply sexual, the whole energy of life can be seen as sexual energy, of creativity, as the interplay of consciousness and love, masculine and feminine energies. When we expand the limited concepts of sexuality to include all of the interplay of life then we can state that tantra is about awakening through sexuality. Biodanza Workshops- “I” exist because “WE” exist : We have some amazing Biodanza Sessions during the festival, here is a little bit about this system that has so much in common with Tantra: Biodanza is an incredible system of human development and integration, which celebrates the identity and soul of beings encouraging it to shine forth through all the cultural conditioning into being and into expression. At the heart is the dance process of ‘Vivencia’. As described by Rolando Toro (the creator of Biodanza), Vivencia refers to the ‘intense perception of being alive, here and now. It is the intuition of the living moment’. Vivencias (normally lasting up to two hours) become doors to access primal emotions that enable movements to emerge that are the most natural expression of your true self. Inhibition and rigidity brought about by our social conditioning are challenged and released slowly, as you progress entirely at your own speed. Love Lounge- Exploring as Gods and Goddesses We welcome you to the love lounge– a place where you can explore and discover yourself through all your senses as God and Goddess meeting inside and out. This held space will be open in the evenings and is a place to relax and hang out at the end of the day and also where you can meet others and enjoy the range of experiences that are available to you. It will be divided into various sense experience zones, as well as having a more social tea station where you can relax and chat closer to the entrance. Dive in, enjoy! The Healing Team- Take Time to Nourish Yourself As well as all the workshops, concerts, parties and events we also have a dedicated Healing Temple. Here there will be a small team ready for emotional support each day who can help you with any strong emotions that have been stirred up, questions about what is happening or just a good hug and a cup of tea. In addition to this support, we have arranged for some incredible bodyworkers, healers and session givers who will be offering session slots throughout the festival. A full brochure of these will be available in the healing temple with more details and prices. Since then the conscious dance and the use of the voice as tools for a big connection are part of his proposals. He is Space Holder/ Dj/ Dancer in Ecstatic Dance Lisbon and Arrábida Facilitator of “Voice Awakening” and voice concerts Facilitator of “Sufi Trance Sessions” Links: https://www.facebook.com/virgilio.beatriz https://www.facebook.com/ecstaticdancelisboa/ https://www.facebook.com/ecstaticdancearrabida/ https://www.facebook.com/nosvozconcertos/ https://www.facebook.com/Retirodomeufuturo/ Kaulika and Raja Kaulika has been a singer in West-Bengal, with her own television show, she had her concert performances, and was touring with her own band. Raja was her devoted guitar player 15 years back. He is in India one of the topmost guitar players. Both turned their life towards meditation, and in May 2019 they met again in a completely new connection, that only can be called, “pure divine magic”. They have created a unique album “Divine Moments” which was recorded without any plan or rehearsal. It was a spontaneous happening in the moment. Now Raja and Kaulika (her artist name is Anandee) feel to share their divine space through their meditative concert. Riya Sokol Riya is James’s life partner, as well as a famous singer, awakening coach, tantrica, vision quest guide she is very connected to earth medicines and ceremonial spaces. Having a mixture of jewish, south American and Indian roots, her passion is to bridge these lineages. Life mirrored to her this strong combination by training her in both Amazonian Shamanism as well as in Tantra- initiated by Kaula Heart of All, and influenced by the Baul Mystics and Master Osho. She uses her voice in many different forms – whether it’s singing, speaking or making sounds she has never heard before – to open hearts and transform people’s life. She travels around the world with her Beloved, learning from him and sharing the gifts of this tantric relationship with groups, offering: a “voice- bath” that can take to deep relaxing states of mind, tantric practices and ceremonies– that improve people’s lives and relationships, and evening concerts with her own music or mantras and kirtans. The Bauls Osho Says “A Baul is a flowering. A Baul is a flowing energy. The Baul is not a seeker, the Baul is one who has found. The Baul is a SIDDHA: one who has looked into life and realized that all is available and there is no need to seek. One has just to participate in this mystery called life. He dances, he sings, he enjoys, he is blissful for no reason at all.” Bauls are mystical musicians from Bengal. They sing from the Heart and pour out their feelings and emotions in their songs. Their music reflects bonds of the heart, subtly revealing the mystery of life, the laws of nature and the ultimate union with the divine. Baul is a mystic nomad dealing with human relations, emotions and spontaneously expressing their spiritual ideology through music & dance. The music of the Bauls, Baul Sangeet, is a particular type of folk music. Its lyrics carry influences of the Hindu bhakti movements and the songs of Kabir. Their music represents a long heritage of preaching mysticism through songs in Bengali. Their lyrics intertwine a deep sense of mysticism, a longing for oneness with the divine. They seek the divinity in human beings. Metaphysical topics are dwelt upon in a humble fashion and in simple words. To them we are all a gift of divine power and the body is a temple, music being the path to connect to that power. Bauls use a number of musical instruments: the most common is the ektara, a one-stringed “plucked drum” drone instrument, carved from the epicarp of a gourd, and made of bamboo and goatskin. Others include the dotara, a long-necked fretless lute (while the name literally means “two stringed” it usually has four metal strings) made of the wood of a jackfruit or neem tree. Drums like the duggi, a small hand-held earthen drum, and and khol; small cymbals called khartal and manjira, and the bamboo flute are also used. Ghungur and nupur are anklets with bells that ring while the person wearing them dances. Talk: There will be talk on Bauls in which Madhusudan will explain the Life of Bauls, their spirit, thinking and lifestyle. Baul music celebrates celestial love, Madhusudan will explain the value of music in their lives and how it is an easy source of meditation and devotion for them. We will learn the aim and object of their lives, how Yoga forms an important aspect of their daily lives and facts about their master-disciple heritage. Madhusudan will give tips on recognizing the transcendental quality in people and methods to control the desiring mind. He will explain briefly about the tantric practices used amongst Bauls, but will not be able to divulge the details, as these secrets are allowed to be transmitted only in a close communion between Master & Disciple. The talk will be followed by a question & answer session. Concert: The songs will highlight the essence of Tantra in many ways. They will have a dialogue with the six psychic centers in the subtle body to the primal memories of the soul wandering in the mother’s womb. One song will communicate the dormant state of cosmic energy-The kundalini and another will portray the immortality of the soul by analogies. He is teaching Tai Chi and Chi Kung (the path of Tao) for more than 20 years. In 1999 he founded the Osho Leela LoveMysterySchool, to share the experience and wisdom of their Tantric Transformation, with his partner Gitama. Since 2010 he entered in a space of aloneness, a space of contentment and gratitude; a space of freedom. A new quality opened up, where he opened his wings to the Divine. In his teaching, he brings his experience on the path of Tao and the path of Tantra together. Both paths meet in the Heart, which is the place where the transformation of the human energy into the Divine becomes possible. At the Indian Osho Tantra, he met his shakti Kaulika who was travelling with the Baul Mystics, and have been falling in love ever since. They went into a deep journey and stopped teaching for some time to honour that together. They are now ready to share the fruits of that experience teaching together. The Divine is to be found inside one’s own being, and the Heart is the meeting point of the material and spiritual dimensions. Only through the Heart transcendence becomes possible, transcendence of all dualities, transcendence of life and death, transcendence of yin and yang, transcendence of Shiva and Shakti… In the Heart, we are all one….. She gives a variety of workshops, in different places of the world, blending most of the times the secrets of shamanism, myths, art, tantra, dance and spirituality. Even though she has a brief skeleton on how they have to be, she always channels the content of the workshops and flows with the Divine will, at that current moment. I love to acompany people on their journey of inner and outer transformation. I am just giving the guidance of the journey, the merit belongs to the person who finds the courage to accomplish it!” www. befreeandhappy.com Aaron Kleinerman Aaron Kleinerman is a Transformational Sex and Relationship Coach, Facilitator and Speaker. She offers an alternative to confused mindsets and habits and empowers people to align with their Spirit and expand into erotic freedom. She creates a space in which our darkness is no longer shameful, but where it actually nourishes our light, where spirituality and sexuality are one. Jonathan Sometimes we embark on a journey without realising it. For Jonathan it started as a child growing up in Africa and the love of nature which grew out of that experience. His spiritual path, in turn grew from that love of nature and embraces everything that it is to be human, from the primal drive to survive to our eternal quest for the divine. “What feels natural in my body and what feeds my spirit are powerful guides in my approach to life” Jonathan Having spent half his life working in international business and raising two children he knows the cry of the soul, yearning to fly … he stayed in this world until finally realising that all he needed to do was to spread his wings and take off. Today, Jonathan teaches Tantra, Self-development and Meditation Groups across the world. He reaches out to people seeking a meaningful connection with others; more fulfilling relationships and attunement with their life’s purpose. With a special empathy for those, tying to integrate a spiritual practice into everyday life, his passion is helping others discover their own wings; to jump into the void and …… His workshops use the vivid imagery of archetypes and mythology to bring to life the messages he imparts. He also draws on ancient tantric practices and modern psychotherapeutic structures and uses movement, breath, ritual and above all a sense of fun and play to help students embody his teachings and to leave with something personal and precious. https://yotan.org Ashwin Bharti Ashwin Bharti became a disciple of Osho in 1977 and is an ambassador of Osho’s vision.
